As Albert Einstein said, “Creativity is contagious, pass it on.” I’m very enthusiastic about my passion in arts and it’s contagious. Whenever my little girl have spare time like she’s having a day off school, one of our bonding recipe are making arts & crafts, and it’s one of the treasure that I’d like to pass and share with her, and it’s like building a happy and healthy mother-daughter bond.
She loves to doodle, colouring and paint with her scratch book. I always keep her works at pin board, so it’ll inspire and pursue her to do more plus the feeling of enjoyment every time she did her best effort.
Hiyeee~! It’s DIY Friday again. Are you ready for making a DIY-ish Fabric Mannequin? So let’s get started. This design idea started when I begin to hooked on sewing and making a tutu skirt & dresses. Of course, It is more catching and enchanting If I have a torso mannequin to display my handmade dresses. I actually wanted to purchase a kids torso mannequin at online market, the designs are very pleasing & fascinating but the prices are way too expensive (but I guess, it’s worth it as well), It will costs me from $41 to $100. + the shipping. And then my crafty mind begins to shine, so I decided to tackle making my own DIY-ish mannequin, cheapo but pretty simple & nifty. Continue reading “DIY Friday: Making a DIY-ísh Fabric Mannequin”
Owhkey! It’s DIY Friday! Let me share another recycled treasure. I created this for my little princess named Phoebe. I’d like to surprise her (cause she always love surprises) and can’t wait to see her adorable smile and the sparks in her eyes, of course her sweet “thank you” and lovely kisses she’ll give. She had this so called “Little Desk”, where she always drew and paints. It’s just an empty little desk, simple and unembellished, so I decided to make her a little desk organizer; just to fill the emptiness into fancy one.
I always have tons of empty boxes of detergent, milk carton and tissue paper roll, etc. I collected it until I can make a beautiful desk organizer. From detergent boxes, turn into a desk book organizer, where she can situate her little reading books & other stuff; from tissue paper roll turn into a pen organizer, and the chocolate box, I just use it as a base of the tissue to support the things that will put in. Once the empty boxes and tissue roll are clean, cut and smooth, all you need to do is wrap the boxes with origami stylish paper or deco wall sticker paper (which I use) but any kind of paper you prefer is fine, and use ribbon or any deco for embellishing your desk organizer. And there you have it, another cute and dazzling DIY desk organizer.Continue reading “DIY Friday: Little Desk Organizer”

Another late project to posts. Aarrgh! there’s a lot of post that I’ve been missed but anyways here’s the snap paper craft works I made before. I’ve been hired to make a wedding invites and a 5oth birthday for a masquerade party theme. It’s a long way challenge to me especially the wedding invites that my dear friend requests by having a bride and groom that made out of clay kissing in front or while opening their wedding invitation. Oh it’s a big gulp but I’m very happy with the outcome and of course not just me including my dear friend, the bride and groom reminds me how sweet to be in-love and be loved for the rest of our lives. Ayeeeh! love-love-love ❤ Continue reading “LP: Invites project”

And then voilà~! It is my lucky day when I went to shop for some groceries and I saw a wood materials section. Of course, I am so animated looking for something I can use on making my first wood crafts.
And here’s the materials that I bought; (a) plywood sheet (b) round wood stick (c) hobby saw and (d) metal hang fittings
I always envious seeing images of a wall rack ribbon and I know it was made of a professional maker that can buy at Interior Home Depot. And now I am gonna make my own wall rack ribbon “Yiheee..” though I don’t have much materials for wood crafting maybe I can still make a way to create my new pursuits.
Since I dont’ have a wood drill I just used my screw driver to make a hole. I need to use a tape measure, ruler and pencil to create a guides. Continue reading “New Pursuit.”
